Production Supervisor (3rd Shift)
About the role
Plans and prepares manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows to establish sequence and lead time of each production operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders. Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions; includes estimating. Analyzes plant capacity and production requisition data to determine manufacturing processes and required resources; prepares production reports.
The Production Supervisor leads shift operations to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time execution of the production schedule. This role drives safety, quality, and productivity performance, supports operator training, and escalates issues when performance expectations are not met. The Production Supervisor also contributes to continuous improvement, supports maintenance needs, and ensures strong communication across shifts.
Responsibilities
- Lead production activities and ensure schedule, safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching and corrective action when needed.
- Respond quickly to equipment downtime to minimize production loss.
- Support operator training, new equipment startup, and team development.
- Drive continuous improvement and assist with capital and operational projects.
- Maintain and improve CMMS (Manager Plus) accuracy and usage.
- Promote and reinforce a strong Safety-First Culture across all operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years manufacturing experience and 5+ years supervisory experience.
- CMMS experience strongly preferred; SAP experience a plus.
- Strong computer and basic math skills.
- Knowledge of equipment setup, operation, and preventive maintenance.
- Preferred experience with controls, electronics, pneumatics, and PLCs.
- Physical requirements: lift 55 lbs, stand up to 4 hours, bend/stretch regularly.
- Willingness to work 3rd shift (10:30 PM - 6:30 AM).

Pay
The expected compensation range for this position is between $77,270.00 and $113,322.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
