About the role
As a Production Supervisor, you'll be responsible for leading production teams, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and driving operational efficiency. You'll play a key role in developing talent, managing performance, and collaborating across departments to meet production goals.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all production personnel and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
- Monitor processes and equipment to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Organize and adjust work schedules to meet production demands.
- Conduct performance reviews and coach team members for growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance operations and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and ensure food safety compliance.
- Participate in facility metrics reporting and support Wis-Pak's strategic goals.
- Enforce safety protocols and respond to incidents with appropriate follow-up.
- Aid in hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Strong communication, team-building, and motivational skills.
- Ability to read, write, interpret documents, and solve problems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and manufacturing processes.
- Willingness to work across shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
