Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift -

About the role

The Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift is responsible for managing and coordinating operations to meet customer requirements. They must have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of every production position and supervise hourly production associates.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate, and execute production schedule.
• Ensure compliance to company safety rules and company policies.
• Identify and address safety issues.
• Accident investigation and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Ensures staff is properly trained.
• Continuously look for improvements and elimination of all waste.
• Address quality issues, ensuring product meets quality standards through the manufacturing process.
• Identify quality and production issues with suggestions for resolution.

Requirements

• 5 - 7 years of manufacturing experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

Must understand 5S system and be able to train others in this area.

Skills

• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of quality control processes.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $68,500 to $85K commensurate with experience with bonus potential.

Schedule

2nd Shift: 2pm to 10pm (Work Hours/Works Days are subject to change based on business needs)
