About the Role

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, you will lead team members to manage the plant's process improvement opportunities. This role is based onsite at our Russellville, AR manufacturing facility and involves managing the 2nd Shift production team to attain production and quality goals, identifying and resolving production issues, and ensuring production resources—including materials, equipment, and employees—are available to maintain production schedules. You will support continuous improvement objectives in safety, quality, cost, and customer service while building an engaged, team-oriented workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor production to ensure quality, productivity, and cost standards are maintained across shifts.
  • Provide training and resources to employees to ensure they successfully perform job responsibilities.
  • Support sanitation operations to promote a clean and food-safe environment.
  • Identify production issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions through root cause analysis.
  • Enforce plant rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Evaluate employee performance, communicate expectations, and provide coaching to improve work performance.
  • Support plant and company safety programs and promote adherence to safety requirements, including lock-out/tag-out, personal protective equipment, and confined space entry.
  • Lead teams in achieving continuous improvement objectives related to safety, quality, cost, and customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Food Science, Agricultural Sciences, or another natural science discipline preferred.
  • At least 3 years of management experience.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • SAP experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and loss elimination.
  • Must be available to rotate to other shifts or areas periodically.

Physical Requirements

This role may require you to be in our manufacturing facilities. When visiting these sites, the following physical requirements may apply:

  • Walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination.
  • Lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment; noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Pay

Annual Base Salary: $64,000.00 - $80,000.00. The annual salary listed is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on location, relevant experience/level, skillset, and internal equity considerations.
