Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Key Areas Of Responsibility

• Upholds all safety requirements.
• Organizes work by reviewing production plan requirements; preparing changeover.
• Obtains materials and supplies by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
• Maintains production requirements by following and enforcing productivity, quality, cost, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems.
• Improves quality results by identifying process improvement opportunities; implementing changes.
• Develops human resources by orienting, training, coaching, and disciplining employees; enforcing human resource policies and procedures.
• Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years Supervision and Coaching experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
• 3 years of experience in Process Improvement and Developing Standards.
• 3 years of experience in Production Planning / Manufacturing Control Planning.
• 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Methods and Procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical Pressing / Printing Manufacturing Experience.
• Knowledge of 6S programs, lean manufacturing and visual factory operations.
• Experience with an MRP/ERP System.

Special Position Requirements

• 8 Hour shift(s): 2:00pm-10:30pm
• Traditional five-day workweek (M-F)
• Occasional overtime may be required
• Standing or sitting for long periods of time
• Lifting up to 40 pounds with a pushing and pulling motion on an intermittent basis

Total Target Compensation (TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between Total Target Cash (TTC) 66,756.38 - 111,260.63 USD Annual.
