About the role
Plans, manages, and directs the work of Production and other manufacturing supervisors. Ensures cost-effective, quality production of products according to standards. Requires constant interaction with work groups and other departments at the primary work location. This position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may directly or indirectly affect product safety, legality, and/or quality.
Responsibilities
- Develops, plans, manages, and directs the work of production and other manufacturing supervisors.
- Ensures cost-effective, quality production of products.
- Monitors cripples and losses due to production.
- Ensures a safe working environment for employees and contractors.
- Participates in accident investigation processes.
- Performs shift supervisor duties when necessary.
- Promotes positive employee relations.
- Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
- Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
- Fulfills work schedules, adheres to attendance policies, and follows other applicable operating rules, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- Five or more years of progressively responsible manufacturing experience.
- Associate or higher college degree.
- Completion of a formal management skills training program.

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00
