Production Superintendent

About the Role

Arkema is seeking an experienced Production Superintendent to lead Sulfox, DMDS, Utilities, and Shipping operations at its Beaumont manufacturing facility. This leadership role is responsible for driving safe, reliable, and efficient production performance while serving as the manufacturing asset owner for key operating units. The Superintendent will partner cross-functionally with Maintenance, Engineering, Reliability, Supply Chain, and HES teams to optimize asset utilization, improve operational performance, and support business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead production operations to achieve safety, reliability, quality, cost, and productivity goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on asset utilization, operational excellence, and manufacturing performance.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams on maintenance strategies, turnarounds, and operational priorities.
• Develop and mentor Shift Leads and Operations personnel, supporting workforce development and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements while fostering a strong HES culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 5-10 years of process engineering experience with leadership experience preferred, or 10+ years of manufacturing/operations experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing, process operations, or production leadership.
• Strong background in process optimization, troubleshooting, and operational improvement.
• Demonstrated leadership, team development, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to support off-hours operational needs when required.
