Production Specialist 3rd shift (10pm to 6am)

About the role

Conagra Brands in Darien, WI, a local supplier of Birds Eye products, is seeking qualified individuals to fill a Production Specialist role in the production department for 3rd shift. Reporting to Production Supervisors, you will work on-site at one of Conagra's largest manufacturing facilities with over 800 employees. As a Production Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting production operations by ensuring product quality, packaging compliance, and adherence to safety and food handling standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop a working knowledge of production schedules and learn to read and follow schedule instructions.
• Form and assemble cases to meet production requirements and specifications.
• Monitor auto-filled bags or trays for required fill weight, back seal, end seal, label placement, date code, and label accuracy.
• Report deviations from product requirements to operators or supervisors.
• Ensure cases enter the case sealer correctly.
• Visually inspect products and ingredients for blemishes, flaws, extraneous material, or discoloration.
• Stop production and report any serious deviation from requirements or equipment malfunction.
• Maintain housekeeping in the work area.
• Assist operators with start-up, production, changeover, and shutdown activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Ability to meet physical requirements to perform all duties safely.

Pay

$20.17 an hour + $1.50 shift differential
