Production Soldering / Assembly Floater

About the Role

Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking a Production Floater in Soldering/Assembly. This is a full-time, daylight position located in Indiana, Pennsylvania, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Hand soldering through-hole and SMT components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs).
• Preparing wires for test cable assemblies.
• Assembling products in accordance with established standards.
• Training to run soldering robots for placement of shields and wave soldering oven.
• Soldering electronic components to PCBs following drawings and schematics.
• Preparing and crimping wires and test cable assemblies.
• Performing other related duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Soldering experience.
• Available for in-person, daylight shifts only.
• Physical and manual dexterity skills; comfortable using a magnifying glass or microscope.
• Safety-conscious and comfortable using hot tools.
• Basic computer skills, organizational skills, and great attention to detail.
• Able to sit for long periods at a time.
