Production - Skilled Laborer

About the role

Alford Foundation and Crawl Space Repair is looking for talented Skilled Laborers to join the company's Construction team. Candidates must bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn the company's processes. Due to auto insurance requirements, candidates should be at least 20 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Aiding crew leaders in day-to-day operations by learning to install products, loading and unloading trucks, removing debris, and achieving production goals.
• Assisting job foreman by setting up worksites with appropriate equipment, unloading tools, keeping work areas clean and organized, and maintaining a safe workspace.
• Working in tight areas, such as crawl spaces and basements.
• Working outdoors and indoors year-round, as needed.
• Removing and returning necessary items to storage and assisting with accurate inventory.
• Heavy lifting on a job-by-job basis.
• Interacting with team members and customers in a positive and productive manner.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, stand, and kneel for extended periods.
• General math skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/8 of an inch.
• Experience with common power tools, their functions, and use.
• Desire to learn and excel in the construction industry.
