Production Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Oversee the workflow and resources for Laser Marking, Processing, Cable Manufacturing, and Markers areas.
• Align team members with production schedules and communicate with Value Added Supervisors.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels of raw and finished materials in the Processing and Markers area.
• Maintain adequate inventory of finished kits to support customer demands.
• Answer emails from WireMasters employees about orders and communicate with sales staff regarding order issues.
• Create and print PWO/Pull Sheets for Processing and Cable Manufacturing orders according to Quality and Operating procedures.
• Maintain due date maintenance, backlog comments, combine orders, and clean instructions in Rubicon for Processing and Cable Manufacturing orders.
• Schedule production based on process capacity with the Manufacturing Engineer.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels of processing supplies such as inks, extender, MEK, PPE, print wheels, lab miscellaneous, and Marker room supplies.
• Communicate effectively and participate as a team player.
• Estimate work hour requirements for job assignments and bring up and implement improvements.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and document processes as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior general office, accounting, and production experience required.
• Strong written, oral, and technical communication skills.
• Math aptitude.
• Organization and planning skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Reading skills.
