Responsibilities
- Schedule production commitments associated with batch production activities and relabel activities for timely deliveries through the utilization of Infor and written communication.
- Communicate requirements to appropriate departments to ensure success of production and customer satisfaction, from lack of raw material to timing of transportation.
- Order production-related supplies through Maximo.
- Assure raw materials, containers, labels, and proper documentation are available for production of finished products.
- Optimize batch size for produced products.
- Control documentation specific to customer and product production and shipping.
- Communicate with customer service for notification related to production availability and communicate any changes to the dates of manufacturing.
- Utilize the Warehouse Staff for raw material picking and staging by entering DOs as necessary.
- Uphold Hydrite’s Standard of Excellence through a continuous commitment to maintain quality facilities and provide quality products and services to internal and external customers.
- Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and all other duties to be assigned.
- Review product structures for accuracy and request modifications as necessary.
- Assist in scheduling all production activity outside of the batch activities.
- Participate in efforts to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Work with other staff members to maintain workload balances. Provide back-up support as necessary.
- Support effective communication with all Hydrite departments where responsibilities overlap to ensure success of the branch team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent preferred.
- Detailed oriented.
- Previous experience with ERP systems with the ability to read a MRP report preferred.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel required.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated and have the ability to initiate continuous improvement.
- Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and climb stairs for up to 8 hours per day.
- Occasional turning, twisting, stooping, bending, lifting, and reaching.
- Due to safety concerns, the wearing of contact lenses is prohibited in Operations.
- Able to wear a hairnet and beard net, if applicable, with a hard hat, safety glasses, and steel-toed shoes.
- No exposed jewelry in body piercings when in a GMP production area.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and the ability to drive to multiple work locations.
This position reports to the Regional Supply Chain Manager.
