Production Sanitor
Position Overview
The Production Sanitor will provide sanitation support within production and warehouse operations under the supervision of the Quality Team Manager and Lead Sanitation Technician.
Responsibilities
- Completing environmental sanitation tasks during line changeovers
- Operating floor scrubber in production and warehouse common areas
- Daily trash removal from production area to include pallets, drums, and bags
- Daily maintenance of handwashing/boot scrubbing vestibules cleanliness and supplies
- Floor drain cleaning
- PIT and scrubber cleaning
- Management of wash bay and all activities within
- Back-up operator for trash compactor
- Help develop and revise sanitation procedures
- Adherence to the Master Sanitation Schedule
- Other duties including entry-level line positions (e.g. pack-off and equipment disassembly) as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of uses of cleaning devices and chemicals
- Ability to follow through on assigned task with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift 50 lbs on a daily basis and sustain physical work
- Basic knowledge of equipment/machinery
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to operate a floor scrubber
- PAPR use may be required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in food manufacturing
- Collaborative communication skills
Pay and Benefits
The pay rate for this position is $17.85 - $26.77. Benefits include, but are not limited to, tuition assistance, medical, dental, vision, disability, group life insurance, 401(k), profit sharing, paid holidays, and vacations.
