Production Print Manager
Covering the eastern to southeastern region, including NJ, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, MS, LA, AR, TN, KY, and TX.
About the role
Executes sales, competitive analysis, marketing programs, and solutions selling strategies as directed by leadership. Drives sales toward quota attainment and increased market share, while motivating and growing all Production Print pre-sales and administrative functions. Supports and educates the dealer community to enable sales success.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales revenue and unit budget for the assigned quota.
- Manage forecasted and planned budget levels, emphasizing revenues, productivity, and unit placements.
- Provide pre-sale and post-sale support to the regional sales staff for Sharp Hercules, Polaris Office, Polaris Pro, and Darwin Production products.
- Support all Sharp Production equipment 70 ppm and above, including demonstrations, application support, and sales calls in a support role.
- Train clients on copier/printer features, color theory, finishing devices, and workflow solutions for their business environment.
- Work with designated service personnel to complete installation of workflow software and production-oriented finishing options, including customer training.
- Prepare and submit required business plans, activity reports, and accurate monthly forecasts using Salesforce.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or 5+ years equivalent experience in the graphics, production print market, or related field in a sales organization.
- Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Experience creating and assisting in the delivery of professional sales presentations.
- Strong understanding of print drivers, printer networking, graphics programs, color theory, web-based submission programs, print workflow software, color management, and specific media types.
- Hardware knowledge: Macintosh and PCs.
- Software knowledge: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Macromedia Freehand, QuarkXPress, Adobe Acrobat, PDF, Tiff, EPS formats, Microsoft Office, and other programs.
- Understand proprietary software for different RIPs, specifically Fiery.
- Knowledge of Fiery and Fiery tools, Color Logic, and Touch 7 Solutions.
- Knowledge of SalesForce.
- Excellent communication skills.
- 80%+ national travel required.
- Candidate must reside in or near one of the following locations for frequent travel: NJ, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, MS, LA, AR, TN, KY, TX.

Pay
$75,000 - $105,000 USD. The starting salary will be determined by experience, education, training, certification, and location. Eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, subject to program rules.
