Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Print Production Manager to oversee print projects from order entry through final delivery. This role serves as the primary point of coordination between the sales team, production departments, and customers, ensuring every project is completed accurately, on schedule, and meets quality standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and can effectively manage multiple print production projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review project specifications with sales representatives.
  • Enter and manage jobs accurately within the production management system.
  • Coordinate with prepress, digital printing, large format, finishing, and specialty production teams.
  • Review print proofs for accuracy before customer approval.
  • Manage the proof approval process and communicate updates with customers.
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure quality, deadlines, and specifications are met.
  • Perform final quality inspections before shipment or delivery.
  • Coordinate shipping, deliveries, and customer pickups.
  • Resolve production issues promptly to keep projects on schedule.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow, communication, and production efficiency.
  • Maintain excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in print project management, production coordination, customer service, or a related print industry role.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial print production processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret print-ready files.
  • Understanding of paper stocks, finishing methods, and large-format printing materials.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Graphic design experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $24.00–$27.00 per hour

Work Environment

Full-time, onsite position located in Carlsbad, CA.
