Production Planning Manager

The Production Planning Manager oversees the plant's finite production scheduling, ensuring plans are accurate, attainable, and aligned with customer service and manufacturing goals. Responsibilities include creating and continuously improving production schedules, monitoring key metrics, investigating schedule misses, and implementing corrective actions. The role involves collaborating with Supply Planning, Materials Planning, and Operations to optimize SKU and line sequencing, improve OEE, and support supply chain efficiency. Key duties involve maintaining planning data, communicating schedule changes, and leading process improvement initiatives. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of supply chain or manufacturing planning experience, proficiency in ERP systems, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication.
