KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and drive the master production schedule across departments
- Balance demand vs. capacity in a high-mix, fast-paced environment
- Lead production planning and purchasing teams to ensure alignment and execution
- Optimize schedules based on material, labor, and machine availability
- Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements in throughput and on-time delivery
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Quality, and Sourcing
- Support quoting efforts with production timing and feasibility input
- Monitor key metrics: schedule attainment, backlog, and production efficiency
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years in production planning/scheduling in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- Strong background in ERP/MRP systems and data integrity
- Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing (job shop preferred)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 / AS9100 environments
- Ability to read prints and understand manufacturing workflows
- Prowess in problem-solving, managing priorities, and leading teams
