Typical Day
- 1st Point of contact for Leads and Ops/ Stock Room/ Receiving by being on the Floor.
- Serve as Eyes and Ears of the Line to Production Planning/ Master Scheduling.
- Working knowledge of Primary/ Secondary Lines to ensure continuous coverage.
- Communication Link with Production Planning/ Scheduling.
- Release/Print/ Post Work Orders.
- Owner/ Report out at MDI Board on Inventory Section.
- Inventories: Track Inventory, Red/Green from Previous Day, Inventory Trend CTB %, Inventory Trending Causes, MDI Actions X to Y by Z.
- Owner, QTY, ETA, Tracking Any Red Condition/ 15-day Shortage - Likely an Action Needed.
Experience
- Typically requires 4-6 years of related experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Affects different areas by contributing to development of techniques or concepts.
- May assist in developing department goals/ targets.
