Production Planner/Purchasing- H1B Sponsorship Available

About the Role

Efficiently manage purchasing and inventory to minimize backorders and priority-shipping events by maintaining proper inventory levels for all production assembly teams through coordination with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Generate all purchase orders (POs) for domestic and foreign suppliers and product lines.
• Work and communicate with all assembly team leaders.
• Forecast, plan, and manage correct inventory levels, with special attention to critical items.
• Maintain weekly inventory reports for each department.
• Oversee inventory management and purchasing/planning for all product components.
• Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Coordinate deliveries with freight forwarder(s).
• Work with Accounts Payable on wires and supplier payments.
• Assist other departments with stock needs for customer deliveries.
• Support Senior Management as requested.
• Order items to assist internal warehouse operations.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of purchasing experience (required).
• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and ERP (Visual).
