Production Buyer Planner

About the role

Onsite Production Buyer Planner position at the Bellevue Beverage Plant. Nonunion, hourly position based in Bellevue, WA. On-site role, not open to relocation.

Pay

Salary range: $26.09 to $34.78 an hour.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and purchase raw materials, packaging, and supplies to support production
• Develop and manage relationships with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery schedules
• Plan and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts and inventory levels
• Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments to avoid overstocking or shortages
• Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on material needs and delivery timelines
• Analyze data and prepare reports on purchasing, production, and inventory metrics
• Manage supplier performance and resolve any issues related to deliveries, quality, or pricing
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement and production planning processes
• Ensure compliance with company policies, including SOX requirements, for purchasing and financial reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field, preferred
• Previous experience in procurement, production planning, or supply chain management, preferably in the beverage or food industry
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced production environment
• Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Knowledge of SOX compliance and adherence to company purchasing policies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams
