Production Planner

About the role

Liaises with the sales division to determine customer requirements and develops a production plan detailing all tasks and deadlines to meet predicted completion dates. Monitors production and raw material costs, collects and assesses data about production and team performance, and prepares reports for upper management with suggestions to improve efficiency.

Coordinates with customers, supply chain management, human resources, and maintenance employees to ensure availability of workers, materials, and machinery. Monitors new project progress and escalates unresolved or pending issues to management. Drafts delivery trends, sets monthly realistic production targets, and tracks progress.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 2 to 8 years of experience in the electronics industry
• Preferred industry type: Electronic Manufacturing Services
• Diploma or BE in Electronics/Electrical (preferred MBA or Business Diploma in Inventory Management/Operations)
