Production Planner
Role: A production planner is responsible for the effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of production activities to meet customer demands while optimizing operational efficiency.
- Managing the scheduling and timeliness of the production process to meet deadlines.
- Cooking manufacturing processes and resources to ensure efficient and timely production.
- Balancing demand and supply, monitoring inventory levels, and optimizing resources.
- Analyzing production data to improve efficiency and minimize costs.
- Cooking with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
- Cooking and collaborating with manufacturing teams to allocate resources effectively, ensuring smooth workflow and minimizing bottlenecks.
- Communicating production plans and changes to relevant departments, ensuring clear alignment and minimizing disruption.
- Cooking customer build out, ramp up and system fill requirements for engineering changes and new product launches.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and reduce costs.
Preferred Education/Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business, management, operations, supply chain preferred or related field.
- Proven experience in production planning or manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Proficient in production planning software and ERP systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess and demonstrate leadership ability to include the following: Conflict resolution and problem solving, Teamwork, cross-functional communication, Support of company policies and procedures, Ethical behavior, Decision making with integrity to external partners, Demonstrates and teaches excellent customer relations and long term partnership development.
Travel Requirements
Travel may be periodically required (domestically) to Waupaca facilities and external suppliers and/or customers.
