Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and adjust detailed production schedules.
  • Create and release work orders based on forecasts, customer orders, and material availability.
  • Ensure raw materials and components are available on time to meet production goals.
  • Manage material handling and internal movement between departments and external vendors as needed.
  • Maintain and monitor inventory levels, adjust planning parameters, and generate purchase requisitions as required.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Materials Planning teams to align plans with customer and operational needs.
  • Track work order status, drive timely closure, and ensure accurate data entry into the ERP system.
  • Resolve material issues, quality concerns, and shortages with a sense of urgency.
  • Review production changes, constraints, and priorities, adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning, material flow, and inventory management.
  • Interpret engineering documents and collaborate with technical teams to support new builds and product revisions.
  • Take ownership of departmental issues and participate in corrective action planning and implementation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or master scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
  • 4-year degree, preferably in a related discipline.
  • Experience with Infor LN ERP system is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, shipping software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

About the Role

This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules, coordinating material flow, and ensuring timely work order execution to meet customer demand. The ideal candidate has strong experience in ERP systems, inventory control, and manufacturing planning, along with a collaborative mindset. This position is based out of our Shrewsbury, MA office and is a full-time role, Monday–Friday.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $75,000-$100,000. Compensation is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and training.

Schedule

This position is a full-time role, Monday–Friday.
