About the role

Magellan Aerospace, Haverhill is a world-class manufacturer of precision machined aerospace components. The Production Planner works as part of the Production Control Team to manage daily production schedules and oversee the execution of the production plan to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the execution of daily production plans.
• Works closely with manufacturing/operations and planning.
• Performs daily scheduling of work centers and issues daily dispatch lists.
• Updates schedules in the business system.
• Collaborates with other planners to prioritize work through critical work centers.
• Owns product lines from raw material to shipment.
• Ensures and updates WIP trackers daily.
• Works with the Master Scheduler to ensure line of balances are accurate and maintains a finished goods state.
• Reviews, understands, and follows MOS requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or 5+ years’ experience in a Manufacturing/Production environment.
• APICS Certification is a plus.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems preferred.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Excellent computer skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to multi-task, high energy level, and a sense of urgency.
