Production Planner
Job Description
The Production Planner handles the planning and scheduling production of SVP filling lines and inspection & packaging. Planning and scheduling of products in Manufacturing and Packaging. Evaluate Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and coordinate appropriate changes to Master Production Schedule (MPS). Review inventory reports. Maintain Process Orders in SAP, (create, release, add pertinent notes if any deviation occurred, TECO); including any rework orders and orders for various projects. Request raw materials to meet future production runs. Planning/ scheduling activities of new product introduction. Schedule machines for efficiency, consideration given to: availability of raw materials and equipment, inventory levels of finished goods; drug importance, evolution of sales, requests from Marketing (length of runs). Expiration report and inventory input analysis.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- An Associate’s degree preferred.
- CPIM certification an asset desired.
- 3+ Years’ experience required.
- Experience in pharmaceutical environment preferred.
- Advanced computer and software skills required.
- SAP or other ERP’s experience required.
- Microsoft Office Suite experience required.
