About the role
Ichor Systems, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our Operations team. This full-time onsite position in Fremont, CA is ideal for an individual looking to build a career in manufacturing, supply chain, or production planning.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain production schedules based on customer demand and inventory requirements.
- Release and monitor work orders to support on-time production and shipment goals.
- Coordinate daily with Manufacturing, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Customer Service teams.
- Track production progress and communicate schedule changes or potential delays.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify material shortages that could impact production.
- Maintain accurate planning data and transactions within the ERP system.
- Generate reports and assist with analyzing production performance, inventory trends, and scheduling efficiency.
- Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Assist with forecasting and capacity planning activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning and operational processes.
- Ensure planning activities are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to analyze data and solve problems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
Preferred Qualifications
- 0 - 2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, manufacturing operations, inventory control, or a related field.
- Recent graduates with relevant internships, coursework, or manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of basic inventory management and production planning concepts.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments.

Pay
For candidates in CA: The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $69.47 hourly, non-exempt, per year. Pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on work location and additional factors including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.
