Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
- Track and expedite all transactions since arrival throughout the shop daily.
- Track and manage gear sub-assemblies.
- Plan, schedule and monitor the movement of materials through the entire production process.
- Responsible for meeting ship dates on all Regional Shop customer requirements.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate inventory management to maintain production operations.
- Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage that may arise.
- Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products.
- Plan and prioritize operations based on schedule to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Coordinate and keep control of turnaround time (TAT) of the components sent out for outside processing.
- Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives, etc.).
- Prepare and submit the status of components.
- Report inconsistencies that could jeopardize TAT.
Qualifications
- Aerospace industry knowledge.
- Knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
- Strong negotiation/contracting, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to compile and present data in a format that facilitates information sharing and decision making.
