Production Planner

What You Will Do

• Creates and communicates the daily/weekly production plan.
• Reviews work orders and collaborates with Business Unit Managers and plant supervisors to ensure proper plant prioritization.
• Reviews unreleased work orders to determine root cause(s).
• Reviews and updates PFEP planning parameters based on historical data, standard work and business needs.
• Maintains component supermarkets and prioritizes production.
• Reviews blocking parts and drives actions to mitigate.
• Pairs with the Inventory Control Team to maintain accurate system inventories and supports Physical Inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years of Sourcing, Supply Chain Planning or Materials Planning experience
• Applied experience planning using ERP systems (JDE, Oracle, SAP)
• Functional experience with Excel required
• Occasionally lift and maneuver 30lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• JDE planning experience preferred
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, XLOOKUPs, etc.) strongly desired
• Production Planning or scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
