Responsibilities
- Create and maintain Oracle finished goods Master Items, Bills of Materials and Routings.
- Review customer purchase orders to determine specific item requirements.
- Cook up and prioritize alloy through operations based on customer order promise dates and site inventory needs.
- Analyze customer inquiries to provide Sales with necessary information.
- Implement modifications to orders in process due to internal and/or customer-generated changes.
- Routinely review and update manufacturing order status.
- Coordinate securement of freight carriers/forwarders.
- Develop and maintain daily shipping reports.
- Determine casting revert requirements and communicate demand to the SMM casting sites.
- Perform Oracle shipping transactions for sales recognition.
- Work at the Chittenango facility.
- Work exempt overtime as needed.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in technical or business field required.
- Minimum 3+ years production planning experience.
- Microsoft Office: Advanced Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat DC.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP relating to Work in Process, Bills of Materials, Shipping and Inventory modules preferred.
