Responsibilities
- Planning and controlling production orders in SAP/R3 from release to completion.
- Coordinating material availability with procurement, warehouse, and operational production teams.
- Monitoring production progress and adjusting schedules proactively to avoid bottlenecks.
- Maintaining material master data accurately to guarantee planning reliability and ensure data quality.
- Acting as the key interface between sales, procurement, and production to ensure smooth alignment across departments.
- Analyzing capacity and workloads to support both daily scheduling and long-term strategies.
- Driving continuous improvements in production planning processes with a focus on optimization.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in production planning, materials planning, or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience planning and controlling production orders from release through completion.
- Strong SAP experience required (PP/MM modules preferred), including creation, release, tracking, and closing of production orders.
- Solid understanding of MRP, BOMs, routings, lead times, and production scheduling principles.
- Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools to monitor performance, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills, with experience acting as a key interface between Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, and Production.
- Confidence in presenting planning constraints, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
