Production Packer

About the role

We are seeking entry-level production packers to join our fast-paced manufacturing group. In this role, you will perform a variety of repetitive operations to package company products prior to shipping. This is a high-energy position in a fun, clean, and team-oriented department.

Responsibilities

• 100% inspection of work pieces for cosmetic appearance and obvious non-conformities.
• Sort, process, and assemble small components.
• Place wrapped parts in appropriate packaging.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and contribute to general housekeeping.
• Report any unsafe conditions to Supervisor/Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to:

• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.
• Stand frequently and occasionally walk, sit, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds frequently.

The noise level is usually moderate. The employee is required to wear safety glasses, earplugs, and safety shoes.
