Production Packer

Join the Kelly® team as a Production Packer at a premier manufacturing client in Rochester, NY. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with overtime potential.

Pay

$20.00 – $22.00 per hour

• $20.00 - 1st shift: 6:30am – 3:00pm Monday–Friday, OT on weekends as needed
• $22.00 - 2nd shift: 2:30pm – 11:00pm Monday–Friday, OT on weekends as needed

Schedule

• 1st shift: 6:30am – 3:00pm Monday–Friday, with overtime on weekends as needed
• 2nd shift: 2:30pm – 11:00pm Monday–Friday, with overtime on weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect bottles from machines, conveyor lines, or bulk containers and make quality decisions on each part
• Set up your work area as a controlled environment (attire including hats, gloves, beard masks, coats)
• Perform housekeeping responsibilities to maintain a clean production environment
• Maintain necessary paperwork and records per quality work instructions
• Supply molding machines with raw materials, components, and scrap containers
• Navigate SAP screens and transaction codes to look up inventory balances
• Support line clearance procedures and adhere to ISO 9001 Quality Work Instructions
• Operate assigned machines or equipment and alert supervisor or set-up personnel when issues arise

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED (required)
• At least 2 years of manufacturing or packaging experience
• Familiar with SAP and proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Able to perform simple math (add/subtract whole numbers)
• Able to read, write, and understand English
• Licensed to operate a walkie truck
• Excellent hand/eye coordination and ability to lift and load pallets up to 35 pounds
• Able to work in a fast-paced team environment and adapt quickly
• Able and willing to work overtime as needed
• Own and wear steel toe or composite toe shoes/boots
