Production Packer

Responsibilities

• Pick up cookies and fill trays or cases according to package count or weight
• Streamline finished product prior to entering packout equipment
• Keep packaging area stocked with proper packaging materials
• Perform periodic scale tare checks when needed
• Inspect product
• Assemble boxes
• Sort and weigh waste
• Work in close proximity with other employees; depending on production variety, 30-minute rotation may be required
• Tear down, clean, and re-assemble any equipment used in processing finished product
• Perform all required duties safely and report any unsafe conditions to lead/supervisor
• Clean work equipment and work area as needed
• Fill in for absent employees in other positions as required
• Perform other related duties as directed by lead or supervisor

Must be self-motivated, show initiative, and demonstrate good organizational skills.

Requirements

• 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred; food manufacturing is a plus
• High school diploma or GED required
• Good oral and communication skills
• Ability to perform basic math skills
• Willingness to perform all tasks when and where assigned and adapt to changing situations
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude and work ethic
• Follow all CFI GMPs and work consistent with all food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
• Ability to work individually and in a team setting
