Production Packer

Responsibilities

• Fulfills various production-related tasks such as loading materials into machines, sorting, checking, and packaging products.
• Examines products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintains work area in a neat condition.
• Assists other workers with specific tasks as requested.
• Participates in safety improvement processes, such as Hazard Identification, Safety Suggestions, Safety Teams, etc.
• Performs stack, wrap, and label raw materials or finished goods.
• Records product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Supports plant's food safety initiatives by completing required training and practices.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Willingness to work and follow verbal/written instructions.
• May require moderate computer skills.
• Ability to work safely and train in cross-functional areas.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
