Production Operators

Responsibilities

• Rotate through various positions within the plant to facilitate production
• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk continuously
• Work with hands, above the shoulder, and visually monitor equipment for safety
• Overtime may be required with little notice
• Temperature in the plant may be high, especially during summer

WASH ROOM ATTENDANT

• Loads bins at a rate of 15 bins per hour
• Properly sorts bins and moves carts to the next department

CATCHER

• Train to stack and build carts according to customer standards
• Remove linen from the folder machine and count/stack items
• Notify maintenance for jams and take carts to the dryer area

HAND FOLDER

• Take items from previous processes and fold them
• Check for holes, tears, or stains and move on to the next work area

IRONER

• Feed flat sheets into the spreader and ironer

Qualifications

• High school education or GED preferred
• Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn new systems
• Good recordkeeping skills
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Must be flexible to move around in the plant
• Must be able to count and read
