Responsibilities
- Rotate through various positions within the plant to facilitate production
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently
- Lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk continuously
- Work with hands, above the shoulder, and visually monitor equipment for safety
- Overtime may be required with little notice
- Temperature in the plant may be high, especially during summer
WASH ROOM ATTENDANT
- Loads bins at a rate of 15 bins per hour
- Properly sorts bins and moves carts to the next department
CATCHER
- Train to stack and build carts according to customer standards
- Remove linen from the folder machine and count/stack items
- Notify maintenance for jams and take carts to the dryer area
HAND FOLDER
- Take items from previous processes and fold them
- Check for holes, tears, or stains and move on to the next work area
IRONER
- Feed flat sheets into the spreader and ironer
Qualifications
- High school education or GED preferred
- Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn new systems
- Good recordkeeping skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Must be flexible to move around in the plant
- Must be able to count and read
