Production Operator - Solder Assembly (Third Shift)

About the Role

The assembler performs diversified soldering and assembly operations on various products with close tolerances, including torch and iron soldering, potting, encapsulation, and finishing relays with labels and hardware. This role involves operating necessary equipment, reading blueprints and wire schematics, and using measurement tools to ensure quality compliance. Team collaboration, problem-solving, and training others are key aspects of the position.

Responsibilities

• Perform diversified assembly processes on various products, including soldering, potting, encapsulation, and finishing.
• Operate equipment and tools to meet quality standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Verify parts compliance using measurement instruments.
• Complete finishing, packing, and shipping tasks.
• Collaborate with team members, share responsibilities, and train others as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Eligibility to work under ITAR regulations.
• At least 2 years of hands-on manufacturing experience in soldering.
• ESD training completed; solder certification (J-STD-001) preferred.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Proficient in using measurement instruments, hand tools, soldering irons, and power tools.
