About the Role

At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable, and more connected world. The Assembler role covers significant duties including, but not limited to, the tasks outlined below. This is a union site position.

Responsibilities

  • Performs diversified soldering operations, including torch and iron soldering.
  • Performs diversified assembly on a variety of products involving numerous parts, close tolerances, and interrelated factors.
  • Operates all equipment required to assemble products.
  • Reads blueprints, wire schematics, and uses a wide variety of measurement instruments to verify compliance to quality specifications.
  • Finishes relays with nameplates, decals, hardware, stamps, touch-up paint, etc., and performs packing and shipping duties.
  • Performs potting and encapsulation operations.
  • Works in a team environment with shared responsibilities, problem-solving, and accountability.
  • Trains other employees as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be eligible to work under ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on manufacturing experience in soldering.
  • Completed ESD training and solder certification J-STD-001 is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wire schematics accurately.
  • Proficient in the safe and correct use of measuring instruments, hand tools, soldering iron, and power tools.

Pay

Competitive base salary: $48,339 (subject to change dependent on physical location). Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. Total compensation includes base salary, incentives, and benefits.
