Production Operator - Kitchen Roaster

Responsibilities

• Fill the roaster with oil and heat.
• Use the electrical lift to lower the basket full of nuts into the oil.
• Maintain quality control of the product in color with cooking times.
• Cook the nuts according to the required times.
• Apply various seasonings to the nuts after they are cooked.
• Allow the nuts to cool before filling, weighing, and sealing them into boxes.
• Shrink wrap the pallets for shipment once the boxes are filled.
• Clean and sanitize the areas as needed during the cooking process.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Must be able to perform tasks that involve bending, squatting, pulling, pushing, and reaching above the shoulders.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in physical labor is encouraged but not necessary.
• Experience in a similar role is beneficial but not required.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to the production process is important.
• The ability to work in a friendly and respectful environment is appreciated.
