Production Operator III 2nd Shift

About the role

FRESH. FORWARD. FLOWERS. Flowers Foods, Inc. (NYSE:FLO) is seeking a Production Operator III to join our team. This position is physical and requires a strong understanding of production processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated production equipment
• Diagnose and address machinery failures
• Aid in preventative maintenance
• Sanitize all related equipment
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Master use of enterprise software for data input, retrieval, and reporting
• Contribute to maintaining product safety, legality, and quality
• Act as a member of a highly functioning team

Requirements

• Two (2) or more years of related experience
• High School diploma or equivalency plus successful completion of a technical certification course
• Equivalent military training, other related technical training, or successful completion of at least 45 college credit hours may be substituted for technical training
• A technical certification course may include the completion of the AIB “Science of Baking” course

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency
• Technical certification course (e.g., HVAC, auto maintenance/repair)
• Equivalent military training, other related technical training, or successful completion of at least 45 college credit hours
• A technical certification course may include the completion of the AIB “Science of Baking” course

Skills

• Ability to stoop, bend, lift up to 80 pounds, lift 40 pounds, lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and exert force to push or pull wheeled carts and modules
