Production Operator 2nd/3rd shift

About the role

Kraft Heinz is seeking 2nd/3rd shift Production Operators for our sauces processing facility in Fremont, OH. Successful candidates will contribute improvement suggestions and ideas to support facility success. Ideal candidates are safety and quality oriented, adaptable, and willing to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. This role involves general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

Schedule

Currently hiring for second and third shift positions. Candidates must be willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts alternating days and nights, including weekends.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Learn the safe and proper operation of packaging filling equipment.
• Perform set-up, start-up, and changeover procedures for equipment as needed.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues with line performance related to equipment operation.
• Maintain downtime records during line operation.
• Conduct and document quality checks.
• Clean equipment as required.
• Monitor and communicate any process or product abnormalities to Supervisor, Shift Leader, or Line Technician.
• Perform sanitation duties for production equipment as needed and periodic sanitation work as assigned.
• Properly handle and use chemicals.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Support Plant Quality Systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Shift Leader.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Availability to work all shifts, including second, third, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior manufacturing experience is required.

Pay

Starting pay rate: $25.96/hr., with additional shift premium. Weekly pay.

• Over 300 employees across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
• Union facility represented by UFCW Local 75.
• Manufactures over 1 billion pounds of Ketchup annually.
• Produces Ketchup, Chili Sauce, and Cocktail Sauce.
