Production Operator III - 1st Shift (Mon - Fri, 7am - 3pm)
Job Overview
This position is responsible for setting up and running the extrusion machine and performing quality checks to verify finished material complies with quality specifications. The role involves daily interfacing with the Planning/Scheduling team to forecast downstream product needs and regular communication with Maintenance and Engineering to address machine performance issues.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate the extrusion machine.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure finished material meets specifications.
- Coordinate daily with Planning/Scheduling to forecast downstream product requirements.
- Communicate with Maintenance and Engineering to resolve machine performance issues.
Requirements
- Experience with machine set‑up is highly preferred.
- Basic machine shop knowledge (preferred but not required).
- Ability to utilize inspection equipment to measure product conformance.
- Working knowledge of hand tools.
- Experience with SAP (preferred but not required).
Preferred Background
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and carry at least 30 lb.
- Frequent reaching, grasping, standing, and walking required.
- U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, asylee status, or refugee status (due to ITAR/EAR controls).

Compensation
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $20.00 / Hour to $23.00 / Hour (subject to change based on location and candidate qualifications). Total compensation includes base salary, incentives, and benefits.
