Production Operator (Earn up to $28/hour)

Job Duties

As a Production Manufacturing Operator, you’ll play an important role in making sure our dairy and plant based processing lines run smoothly. This includes operating the equipment, packaging the final product and performing many different quality checks to make sure we’re meeting customer requirements.

The safety of our food and our partners are our No. 1 priority. That’s why you’ll be expected to follow good manufacturing practices and housekeeping guidelines, wear designated personal protective equipment (such as gloves, hard hat, apron, etc.) and meet OSHA safety requirements.

  • Operate cheese processing equipment & wrapping equipment
  • Perform clean-up duties
  • Complete food production records
  • Operate computer/production screens
  • Work both individually and as a team member

Minimum Requirements

  • Computer literacy
  • Strong communications skills
  • Must be able to work well with a team
  • Maintain a satisfactory attendance record

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required.
  • Other relevant work experience preferred, but not required.
  • Stable work history
  • Mechanical aptitude to operate equipment

Schedule/Shifts

We have 3rd (10pm-6am) shift position available. There will be some required overtime. Overtime hours for 3rd shift could be 6pm-6am or 10pm-10am. Overtime is paid after working 8 hours in a day (up to $40/hour).

This position typically works Monday-Friday but will have some potential Saturday work (around 2 Saturdays per month).

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 51 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to tolerate hot and wet conditions during production clean-up
