Production Operator (Chemical/Extrusion)

Responsibilities

• Drive production productivity and ensure production quality.
• Build production recipes and monitor the production line.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition; follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Comply with all safety procedures, including PPE, LOTO, and safe lifting techniques, ensuring operator safety for themselves and coworkers.
• Attend shift team meetings at the start of each shift.
• Assist with line clearing and product changeover.
• Maintain plant cleanliness.
• Assist with prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required.
• Complete daily checklists.
• Complete training book (APO) within the 90-day probationary period.
• Participate in all safety requirements (CBT, Safety Observations, Safety Meetings, and 6S Audits).

Schedule

12-hour shifts on a 4 days on / 4 days off rotation. Shifts rotate every 4 weeks between Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
