Production Operator

About the role

As a Production Operator, you’ll be responsible for supporting production operations, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient plant environment. This role works either the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift (depending on shift availability) and includes starting pay of $21.59/hour.

This position sits within Solventum’s Manufacturing Operations, specifically at one of our global production facilities, where our teams play a hands-on role in bringing life-changing healthcare solutions to life. Our plant teams are essential to advancing Solventum’s mission, ensuring the consistent, high-quality production of medical and dental products that healthcare providers and patients rely on every day. Responsibilities

• Set-Up & Operation of all equipment within multiple departments
• Make equipment adjustments as needed
• Operate and clean Inkjet printer and provide care for the Inkjet heads
• Perform various mechanical tasks in the operation of all equipment
• Write and prepare detailed production reports
• Utilize simple formulas, drawings, etc.
• Possess the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts
• Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards while performing assigned duties

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (completed prior to start) OR 1 year of experience in a production or warehouse role
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
• Ability to lift 10 - 50 lbs or more
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed
• Ability to work either a first, second, or third shift, depending on shift availability

Preferred Qualifications

• Six (6) months of manufacturing experience
• Experience in medical or dental manufacturing environment

Pay

The starting rate of pay for this position is $21.59/hr, with the potential to reach $27.69/hr. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
