About the role

We are seeking Machine Operators who will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining product quality, performing setups, operating, and loading/unloading equipment, and following safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and log all information supporting traceability and quality
• Participate in cross-training activities
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition
• Perform other duties as required or directed

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED
• Ability to prioritize and pay close attention to detail
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, stooping, and bending required
• Must be able to work independently and distinguish colors
• The ability to demonstrate mechanical and computer skills
• Good English skills in reading, writing, and communication
• Able to work in a team environment and work overtime as needed
• Pass background check, drug test, and physical

Preferred

• Prior manufacturing experience
• Prior extrusion experience preferred
• Wire drawing/extrusion/cabling experience

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• Stand, walk, and bend frequently
• Lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
• Push and pull reels occasionally
• Work in a high-volume, fast-paced, highly pressured environment
• Respond efficiently and courteously to unanticipated problems and crises
