Responsibilities

  • Execute manufacturing process by operating designated production equipment.
  • Select intermediates or raw materials, move and load them into production machines.
  • Understand bill of materials and/or formula specifications to ensure proper quantities of materials are added in the correct sequence.
  • Manufacture product safely and on time according to predefined process instructions to meet specific quality standards.
  • Accurately read control instruments and prepare neat, precise records for all operations as required.
  • Complete all quality test requirements to verify final product quality.
  • Ensure efficient, uninterrupted production; identify and facilitate process improvements.
  • Monitor equipment and report production information completely, accurately, and timely.
  • Maintain records for production, raw material deliveries, quality samples, and equipment/process performance.
  • Prepare product packaging for the next production step or final shipment to customers according to department specifications.
  • Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of various laboratory instruments.
  • Work in accordance with all relevant requirements and internal safety guidelines.
  • Maintain housekeeping in the plant, ensuring a clean, safe, and clutter-free work environment.
  • Understand significant quality, safety & health, and environmental (QSHE) aspects/impacts associated with the work, including legal requirements and emergency preparedness.
  • Use the Corporate Sustainability Policy and Integrated Management System (IMS) to continuously improve QSHE aspects of the job.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.
  • 5 years of industrial/manufacturing experience in a chemical or related field.
  • Experience in a maintenance role for a manufacturing or related operation.

Skills

  • Good command of both oral and written local language.
  • Computer skills and laboratory experience preferred.
  • Basic chemistry knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently verbally and in writing with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends, including operating the facility alone on nights and weekends.
  • Ability to work inside and occasionally outside, exposed to heat, cold, dirt, and noise.
