About the Facility

Established in 1971, the Ashville, OH facility is an aluminum finishing plant with coating capabilities. The site processes recycled aluminum into finished sheets used in manufacturing gutters, downspouts, soffit fascia, siding, roofing panels, window trim, and commercial transportation. The facility employs around 200 people and is committed to supporting the local community through volunteer initiatives promoting safety and education.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine equipment and perform manual tasks to maintain safety, operational efficiency, and product quality.
• Ensure timely and accurate production.
• Perform moderate lifting and bending.
• Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to unload, move, stack, and load materials.
• Trim width or paint/coat large aluminum coils using industrial machines.
• Receive and ship materials using industrial mobile equipment.
• Comply with general plant policies, safety and housekeeping programs, and environmental policies.
• Adhere to and support company quality, environmental, health & safety, and certification standards, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, IATF 16949:2016, and ASI Certifications, where applicable.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holiday shifts (facility operates 365 days a year).
• Dependable, team-player who demonstrates initiative.
• Basic computer, math, and reading skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to handle paint and coater solvents safely.
• Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to climb plant equipment, walk, kneel, stoop, bend, drive carts, reach with hands and arms, and climb stairs.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklift).
• Military experience may include but is not limited to:
  • Army 12N – Horizontal Construction Engineer
  • Army 21E/12E – Construction Equipment Operator
  • Navy EO – Equipment Operator
  • Air Force 3E2X1 – Pavements and Construction Equipment
  • Marine Corps 1345 – Engineer Equipment Operator

Pay

Competitive wage of $24.23 – $27.58 per hour, with an additional $0.50 per hour shift differential.
