About the Role
As a Production Operator, you will safely and efficiently operate production equipment, monitor and troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments to ensure optimal equipment performance. You will ensure production lines are continuously supplied with materials and operate efficiently. This role involves actively participating in the continuous improvement of safety, quality, and performance in your designated area.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate, monitor, and problem-solve in your designated production area.
- Maintain sanitation of operational area and equipment to high standards, addressing issues as identified.
- Maintain accurate inventory of supplies through proper storage routines and data entry.
- Perform standard routines, including routine cleaning and equipment inspections to identify defects and coordinate repairs.
- Safely and efficiently perform routines to change product in production, start up product, and monitor performance throughout the run.
- Ensure products meet all quality standards by monitoring production parameters, sampling/testing, and responding accordingly.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced and performance-measured environment.
Pay
The approximate hourly pay for this position starts at $24.09. The pay progression plan is as follows:
- Production Operator E: $24.93
- Production Operator D: $27.28
- Production Operator C: $30.81
- Production Operator B: $35.53
Final compensation may vary based on factors including background, knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
