About the role

As a Production Operator, you will operate equipment associated with the production, packaging, and distribution of Kimberly-Clark products. This role is part of Kimberly-Clark’s investment in creating new jobs and expanding capabilities to produce premium products essential to millions of lives in Beech Island, SC.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate high-speed manufacturing equipment and perform general warehouse or material handling tasks.
  • Interact with manufacturing and/or packaging equipment to conduct troubleshooting, basic adjustments, and repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with peers, leaders, vendors, and contractors.
  • Maintain accurate production information, including quality, operations performance, and waste tracking.

Requirements

  • Be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Hold a state and/or US Department of Education-accredited high school diploma or GED Grade 12 certificate.
  • Have 1+ years of continuous work experience.
  • Possess basic computer knowledge, good math skills, and mechanical aptitude, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Pass a pre-employment assessment, drug screening, background check, and post-offer Physical Abilities Test (PAT).
  • Understand and apply safety policies and practices, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and work in environments with high temperatures and industrial noise.
  • Use basic hand tools and computers, ascend/descend stairs/ladders/ramps, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of verifiable work experience.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in packaging, warehousing, industrial, or distribution environments.
  • Post-secondary education: College degree or Trade School certification from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in a GMP environment for consumer goods.
  • Advanced mechanical skills and technical troubleshooting.

Pay

Starting hourly wage: $23.83 USD. This role is eligible for overtime pay and available pay increases within the first year. Benefits include a 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plan. Note: The stated pay rate applies to US locations only; relocation support is not provided.

Schedule

Full-time, 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
