Production Operator
About the role
As a Production Operator in our Adhesives, Coating, or Converting department, you will perform work assigned in our manufacturing area according to scheduled production requirements. You will run production equipment in a safe, productive, efficient, and quality-conscious manner to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production goals. This role requires self-motivation, cooperation, and excellent attendance while complying with all work rules and utilizing critical reasoning skills to solve problems affecting safety, quality, and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently to meet production targets.
- Adhere to scheduled production requirements and maintain high-quality standards.
- Comply with all workplace safety and operational rules.
- Use critical reasoning to address issues impacting safety, quality, and productivity.
- Work collaboratively with team members to support daily operations.
- Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance and punctuality.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1-3 years of prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work any shift, including weekends and overtime.
Preference is given to candidates with prior experience in paper, chemical, or tape manufacturing involving wide web handling and converting.
